Mad Rock has been with me since the beginning, supporting both my competitive and outdoor dreams alike. It's a climber owned and operated company that has made innovative, highly technical and affordable rock climbing shoes from the start. They want climbing to be enjoyed by everybody - and aim to do that with the best gear at a fair price. "Innovation" isn't just their catch phrase - it's a challenge to be met daily. I've embraced this mindset as an engineer and as a climber.
Sterling has been on the forefront of making the highest quality static and dynamic rope and cord for decades. They were the first to offer a 48-carrier static sheath construction for greater durability and better handling. They came out with the first 100% Polyester static rope, called the HTP, and were the first to offer 100% Technora, heat and abrasion resistant ropes to the fire industry. Their products are seen on the most technical rescues, in the tallest trees, on remote missions as well as hazardous job sites, and are there to get people home safely, day after day. Them behind me gives me the "freedom to focus" on my goals and aspirations in competition and on rock. Metolius embraces the idea that sport climbing is a "way of life." They have cared for me beyond just making some of the safest and highest performing gear on the market! They have also treated me and customers like family. Their safer-by-design philosophy makes it so that they are constantly pushing the CE/UIAA standards to the next level of safety. The company that started in a garage, has now become one of the most highly acclaimed gear companies in the industry! |

MAD ROCK: Shark 2.0: My go-to all-around shoe! Killer on all steep terrain! I use them for competitions and when I'm going for the send. Great heal hook and the added rubber on the top helps a bunch for toe hooking! Solar Harness: Comfortable, durable and safe. Mad Pad: My first choice pad for a nice soft landing. I like how you can stack these bad boys together, and easily carry them with one another. |

STERLING: Evolution Aero: Such a good rope! At 9.2 mm, it's super light and quick to belay with, saving those extra milliseconds to aid with the send. I use this rope for projecting, trad adventures, and gym climbing. |

Bravo Keylock: These are by far my favorite quickdraw I've ever used! They're super lightweight which make them ideal for traveling. They also feel easy to use, and clip super easily! They're for sure my go to draws! Quarter Dome: I love this haul bag! It fits all of the gear I need for the crag, has easy access, feels really comfortable. It also is made from very abrasive material, so you can keep it running for a long time! Access Fund Comp Chalk bag: A portion of the proceeds of this chalk bag goes to the Access Fund - what's not to like! |
